The Fleece of the Alpaca - a cousin of the Llama - is light and soft with thermal properties. Baby Alpaca is spun from the finest of the fleece to produce a lightweight and luxurious yarn second only to silk in strength and highly prized as ‘the fibre of the Gods’.
These Alpaca garments are handmade in Peru using the same techniques that I use to produce knitwear either hand framed on a machine.
